espírito santa restaurant is in the romantic and bohemian santa teresa district that also offers a unique atmosphere in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of rio - led by chef natacha fink, whom prides herself on using fresh, local ingredients to create classic brazilian dishes that will please the entire family.

some of the restaurant's specialties are peixe no pachotinho, which is fish wrapped in collard greens with a scrumptious sweet sauce and nuts, and bolinho de bacalhau, which are traditional cod-fish balls.

other brazilian dishes for meat-eaters and vegetarians are also available, such as the frango santa teresa (santa teresa chicken) which is sliced chicken breast with a passion fruit and herb marinate, accompanied with coconut rice and veggies, or the moqueca de banana, which is the vegetarian version of the fish stew, made with sweet bananas, coconut and herbs.
