at a glance

intihuasi is a small peruvian restaurant, known to be of an excellent quality and authentic, located in flamengo, a delightful and residential district of rio adjacent to botafogo - spread into two floors with about 10 tables downstairs and another 4 upstairs.

there are several interesting dishes on the menu, and a popular main is the slices of lamb with gravy, noisette potatoes, rice, and salad - quinoa can be seen present in many dishes as well and vegetairans have special dishes that can satisfy their peruvian cravings.

as well as authentic peruvian food, traditional cocktails are served, such as the pisco sour, a traditional cocktail that was invented in peru circa 1900, made with pisco brandy, lemon juice and sugar - the pisco sour served here is considered the best in rio.  arrow-back      arrow-forward
