Ecuador and Brazil develop a series of bilateral projects to tackle social problems that afflict both countries in different levels, such as social inequality, insufficient economic growth and logistic difficulties.

Ecuador has no permanent consulate in Rio de Janeiro, but honorary consulates might be available in times of big events or for special reasons.
