The Tocorimé Pamatojari, located in Paraty, is the largest wooden sailing ship in Brazil, and now acts as a platform for Culture and Education. Between 2013 and 2014 a fascinating interactive exhibition of the naval and maritime history and culture of Brazil was mounted on the vessel, which promotes and hosts educational activities to foster in young minds the fundamental importance of the sea for Brazil's sustainable development.

One can experience a land and sea excursion across Rio de Janeiro with the delightful Travel Toe tour. It is a 10 hour excursion which begins with coach ride along the stunning coast to Itacuruçá, where visitors can enjoy the wildlife and dive into the waters of the Sepetiba Bay, or hop on to the ‘saveiro' to glide across the emerald waters. A morning fruit snack is included and a buffet lunch on the tropical island. arrow-back      arrow-forward
