In the Série Estudos (Studies Series) new academic ideas, research and broad questions on communications are collected. Final undergraduate and postgraduate papers, monographs, dissertations and seminars are published in the pursuit of greater knowledge and understanding of the city.

In the Série Memória (Memory Series) newspapers, magazines and other forms of media that are no longer in circulation are collected. These are of fundamental importance to understanding the economic and social role of the media in the history of the city and country.

Raridades(Rare texts) are virtually available in this space, made up of collections from the Biblioteca Oswaldo Porto Rocha (Oswaldo Porto Rocha Library). They are unique works of great historical and editorial importance. The editions have different origins and significance, as organs of local government at various periods.
