mountains, small plains, streams, rapids, waterfalls and swamps make up the interior of the park, whilst eight picturesque beaches hem the borders of the park, giving it outstanding aquatic diversity.

within the seas around the park, and the aquatic attractions inside, there is a rich array of marine life, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, turtles and dolphins, which are all compliments by stunning coral reefs. 

aside from the natural attractions of the park there are a number of cultural heritage sites, such as the rocks that were used to sharpen tools three thousand years ago, or a beautiful old lighthouse on the edge of the park, or even the captivating ruins of lazaretto, from the colonial era.
