in regards to the fauna, there are a huge variety of different animals species that can be found within the park, including the primate spider monkey, who is considered one of the most endangered primates on the planet. joining the spider monkey is a whole host of other exotic mammals, with 32 species recorded in a recent study, which included, capuchin monkeys, wild pigs, anteaters, sloths, hedgehogs, pumas, and ferrets, among many more that rely on the park for their livelihood.
