praia de icaraí is well lit at night, with people always coming and going to the beach, to jog, relax, or meet with teams practicing sports. in general this beach is safe to frequent after dark, however caution is always recommended.

there are many groups practicing several activities on the beach ranging from yoga classes, to the traditional soccer games that happen here every week-end, in the sun or in the rain.
