the beauty of
jurujuba beach stems from its independent life and
strong
cultural roots, true to its ancient origins and very different
from the modern rest of
guanabara bay.on the rocks at the far end of the
beach, a few meters past the final stop of the bus line 33,
traditional fishermen can be seen repairing fishing nets,
while the younger fishermen rest on the beach preparing their
boats for another day at sea.
this is a beach of
strong and proud cultural identity, not often visited by
foreigners, without a structure specifically developed to
attract tourists.
