located in the neighborhood by the same name, this beach is nearly 3 km long, a size similar to copacabana beach or ipanema and leblon beaches together.

this is a shore of beautiful waters, fine white sands, and a great view of rio de janeiro's landscape.  the area is not particularly developed, as there are only some kiosks scattered along the promenade, and no additional sporting facilities as they have become popular in many of rio's beaches.
