praia do sossego has no public restrooms, no lifeguards on duty, and no sporting facilities of any type. there is a small kiosk on the beach with a limited supply of water and snacks - so we recommend all visitors to bring water and food when going to praia do sossego, and some insect repellent for the trail portion of the trip.

additionally, trash bags should be brought along so that all garbage can be taken on the way back and disposed of properly in the developed areas of the neighborhood.
