at a glance
this beach is at the end of the first 1.5 km (1 mile) of trail, exactly at the bottom of the morro dos meros, often referred to as the pedra da tartaruga (stone of the turtle), a rocky hill  from which to enjoy a beautiful view of the coast line and of the pedra da gávea - on pedra da tartaruga it is also possible to practice rock climbing, and enjoy spectacular views of all these wild beaches.

here is praia dos búzios on a wikimapia - the link as we present it is seen best using google chrome and may not open correctly in other browsers. the beach is to the left of pedra da tartaruga, with almost no visible sand - the white beach on the right is praia do perigoso.     arrow-back     arrow-forward
