there are two kiosks at posto 7 that are open late, and some nearby kiosks along ipanema beach also occasionally host singers and live music. the kiosks in copacabana are the best developed offering the type of infrastructure and best suited for nigh time enjoyment of the seas side.

during the warmer months (november through march), some local establishments organize beach parties mostly between ipanema posto 7 and posto 9 - they are easy to spot as tents and mounted on the sand and torches set up.
