praia da reserva ecológica, commonly called praia da reserva is technically part of barra beach, however many consider it to be a beach in its own right. this stretch of beach is characterized by the fact that it has no buildings or constructions behind it, rather just the beautiful reserve of marapendi. further, in an effort to preserve this beach, the road that borders it has no parking spaces, and it is not serviced by public transportation. 

soft white sand, strong waves, a deep blue water, and just nature behind it make of praia da reserva a particularly private beach where many go to seek tranquility - many fishermen and scuba divers find their way on this beach to take advantage of the great variety of fish that can be found here.
