boat rides are arranged locally on either praia barra de guaratiba or on the smaller beach next to it called praia do canto. the trail starts from praia barra de guaratiba on rua parlon siquera, and connect the adventure beaches in this order - praia dos búzios, praia do perigoso, praia do meio, praia funda, and praia do inferno. from praia barra de guaratiba reaching praia do inferno requires a hike of over two hours and medium difficulty.

since these beaches are isolated, and without any life guards on duty, we strongly recommend hiring a local guide to both lead the way and to assist in case of emergencies - furthermore, there are many turns on the trail that lead to rocks without any beach areas.
