located in rio's zona sul, in the são conrado neighborhood, praia do vidigal is not a very common destination for visitors to rio. about 400 meters long, the beach itself is beautiful, however it is difficult to access, and the morro dois irmãos behind it cast their shade on the sand quite early in the day, usually at about 15:30 - further, on days of high tide, the usable beach area is significantly reduced, and the waves can be quite strong.
