from the marambaia, the walk to the barra de guaratiba beach is about 10 minutes - passing barra de guaratiba beach, the trail for the wild beaches starts at the end of rua parlon siqueira, the street above the small beach called praia do canto.

bus schedules are subject to frequent changes, and there may be new routes offered at any time, so it is always best to consult with a local guide or hotel concierge to confirm details in advance.

it is also always advisable to show the route and destination to the bus driver, to make sure exit for bus change happens at the right stop.  

the bus runs through serra da grota funda, guaratiba, and barra de guaratiba - all very interesting locations, yet not often included in touristic itineraries.
