at a glance | jurujuba beach has a very rustic feel to it, a cobblestone promenade with benches and trees separates the small neighborhood houses from the dozens of small fishing boats (traineiras) docked on the sand or in the water. t he beach is normally not used for swimming, as the water is cold, not always clean, and most residents prefer to use the nearby adam and eve oceanic beaches, that are only a few minutes walk away and have better waves and cleaner water. niterói's bay-side beaches are the beaches facing guanabara bay, and have typically small waves, white sand, and generally lower water quality than niterói's oceanic beaches that instead face the atlantic ocean, and have stronger waves and crystalline waters. |
