there are some kiosks that serve light meals and fruit juices, mostly to attend the health conscious crowd that is typical of this beach.

there are no life guards on duty, no bicycle paths, and no public exercise facilities. 

there are a few other beaches in the area including praia do inferno, praia funda, praia do meio, and praia do perigoso - all of which are gorgeous and untouched beaches, accessible by either trail or sea.
