praia da venda grande (beach of the big sale) is a small beach, about 700 meters in length and of variable width, depending on the tide. while of public access, this stretch of the shore is not used in any way by anyone other than the residents who live in the homes facing the sand, or by the fishermen who dock their boats across from it. the few rock formations facing the small cape are picturesque and intriguing when seen at sunset or when fishermen throw their nets form there.
