at a glance

without any large plans or long-term ambitions in mind, a group of enthusiasts from the famous neighborhood of copacabana decided to create a carnival bloc just for the fun it would give them and their neighbors.

at this time these people simply went to the streets making noise with anything they could get their hands on - in 1966 the congregation decided to make this group they'd created official and registered it in bloc federation as the unidos da villa rica.                   arrow-back      arrow-forward
