unfortunately the caprichosos never managed to win the championship, and although it did stay in the special division for years, the results were never stellar.

in 2007 it would fall again to the second division, to eventually descend even further, all the way into the third divison - it was a disappointing result, but the school refused to give in.

in 2012 they presented a parade themed 'a caprichosos faz o seu papel… levanta, sacode a poeira e dá a volta por cima!' (the caprichosos does its job… it raises, shakes the dust off and comes on top!) and, incredibly, they did exactly that, winning the championship and returning to the second division to start all over again.
