despite earning a few more good results the performance of this samba school during the years would have to be classified as uneven - although it did manage to partake in the special division a few times, it also dropped into the third and forth circles of the championship at times.

the jacarezinho is still a challenging neighborhood and the unidos doesn't have the same resources other, greater, samba schools have, something that allied with their sometimes overdone irreverence ends up working against them.
