at a glance

there are many sectors and many types of seating available, so picking the right one can be confusing for anyone who is not familiar with the sambódromo and the parades.

as a rule of thumb, first time visitors should try and pick any of the central sectors 6, 7, 8, or 9 with section 9 being the most expensive as it offers reserved seating.

for a much lower price, sectors 6, 7, and 8 have comparable views to sectors 9 - but getting there a few hour before the show is necessary, as the best seats will be occupied quickly.

anyone who has not bought tickets for numbered seating should plan on getting at the sambódromo a few hours before the parades start.  arrow-back    arrow-forward
