at a glance

the sambódromo seating is divided into two sectors, each sector is either on an odd and or side of the sambódromo runway, which extends all the way to the end of rua frei caneca street.

there is no physical connection between the odd numbered side of the sambódromo and the even-numbered side - so when using the subway the trip has to be planned in advance, as the correct subway stop depends on the sector chosen.

metrô riders should take note of their seating, as even numbered ticket holders should get off at praça onze station and odd numbered ticker holders should wait to get off at central station.

the walk from central station to the sambódromo will get visitors to see the terreirão do samba along the way. arrow-back    arrow-forward
