atmospheric and bustling shots of the rio carnival's frantic crowd feature in many of the film's scenes but perhaps the action passages involving bond battling it out with metal-mouthed jaws, atop a pair of cable cars (known locally as bondinho), suspended above rio's guanabara bay between pão de açúcar and morro da urca, are the most memorable.

bond's journey in the cable car is suddenly halted when jaws stops the engine before chewing threw the cable with his metallic teeth.  

panoramic views of the city are utilized to their full potential as the famous spy balances himself on the swinging car.
