Respondents included male and female inhabitants of the city of rio de janeiro, from 12 years and up, covering all economic levels - Respondents were selected according to gender and age quotas, using data from the IBGE (Census 2010). a total of 1,501 interviews were conducted, distributed amongst five Áreas de Planejamento do rio de janeiro (Planning Areas of rio de janeiro).

the municipal department of culture, in association with  datafolha instituto de pesquisas and JLeiva Consultoria em Eventos Culturais e Esportivos, organized the seminar Cultura > O que querem e fazem os cariocas (cariocas - what they do, what they want) - divided in 3 sections, the work aimed at discovering the cultural profile of rio's inhabitants, creating a portrait of how cariocas relate to the cultural profile of the city.  arrow-back     arrow-forward
