Associação Beneficiente São Martinho is a philanthropic organization, founded in 1984, to provide care and support to children and young people.

The institute serves young people between the ages of 8 and 18, at various levels of social vulnerability, from the streets, and from underprivileged communities, offering them cultural and educational activities after school, and preparation for the formal labour market.

The 'Ao Encontro' project directly serves children and youths on the streets of Rio, to help reduce the period spent in such conditions and offering workshops to initiate them into a new way of life - the association can be contacted via email here or on the organization's website on this link.
