The group regularly throws parties to celebrate their cultural achievements and showcase their art, including big communal meals with music, drinks and general good cheer.

In 2015 the parade went on to compete in the Federação dos Blocos (Parade Federation) and was the first group to parade on Rua Cardoso de Morais (Cardoso de Morais Road). They were crowned vice-champion of the third division.

In the run up to carnival, locals and visitors can enjoy the spectacle of their rehearsals, watching as the song, dance and choreography comes together before their eyes. arrow-back      arrow-forward
