parque penhasco dois irmãos, officially known as parque municipal sérgio bernardes, is a much praised green area of 39 hectares, on the slopes of the landmark morro dois irmãos, located at the end of leblon beach.

the morro dois irmãos (two brothers hills) is a single mountain with two peaks - irmão maior and irmão menor, bigger brother and smaller brother, respectively 539 and 439 meters tall.

established in 1992, the easy-to-access park spans across the neighborhoods of leblon, gávea, vidigal, and rocinha and has an 800 meter trail comprising three stunning viewpoints along the way.   

only a few minutes from the water-front promenade, the first belvedere is easy and quick to access, even by car, and has a great view of the cagarras islands, leblon beach, and ipanema beach, with christ on corcovado on the upper left side.
