at a glance

Tucked away at the foothills of the Morro do Leme (Leme Hill) is a fishing spot and leisure alcove, where residents and visitors gather to fish, take in the wonderful views and bask in the pleasant atmosphere. There is a viewpoint that extends around the mountainous slopes of Morro do Leme (Leme Hill), curving out into the water. This lovely passageway and viewpoint is known as Caminho dos Pescadores (Fisherman's Path), and was designed as a fishing spot. It is used today by fisherman as well as rambling locals and tourists.

From the beginning of the walkway, one can take in spectacular views of Copacabana beach, its surrounding emerald waters, and the magesterial mountains. arrow-back      arrow-forward
