the nature of the area, almost purely residential, did not let a local economy flourish - local establishments are rare and usually rather small - yet, in spite of this the area is actually very well served by diverse infrastructures. there are two local butcher shops, a driving school and even two schools - the eastern side features a wide park with trees, the praça beti quadros coimbra (square). there's also an important church, the paróquia são jerônimo, located on ouseley - more to the north, along ender street there is a locally famous bakery - the rainha de acari. |
