Jardim Novo Horizonte is located more or less in the middle of Bairro Adriana and is comprised of several detached houses, with a green park in its center. It is shaped more or less like a triangle, with Rua Jorge Corrêa Tomás, or 'Jorge Corrêa Tomás Street', covering the western and southern sides and Rua Ari Lóbo, or 'Ari Lóbo Street' covering the eastern side. This last avenue begins at Praça Radialista João Vitta Lobo, or 'Broadcaster John Vitta Lobo Square', located at the eastern edge of the area. The Praça is a wide green expanse with trees and a sports field.

Jardim Novo Horizonte is a residential area with no shops or commerce. It is however, located very close to the substantial WestShopping Rio, a large mall which is one of the key commercial areas in the region, adding much value to nearby residential areas like this one.
