on the ipanema/copacabana side, there is no limited seating, but many cariocas get on the lake's edge hours in advance with beach chairs and cangas.

for anyone not familiar with lagoa, the best way to get to both locations would be via taxi.

by foot, from ipanema the site of the event on the lagoa side close to copacabana/ipanema would be via rua joana angélica at posto 9.

from copacabana, this side of the lagoa can be reached via the corte do cantagalo, along avenida henrique dodsworth at posto 5.
