This growing relationship has been fruitful, providing fertile ground for governmental and private initiatives that range from direct investments to political agreements and the transferring of companies - Brazil also received a relatively large influx of Austrian immigrants to the states of Espírito Santo, Santa Catarina and Paraná, which nowadays reach a sum of approximately 20 thousand citizens.
