in fact, the easy to access area results in crowds being able to assist and participate without having to travel to the beaches of the west zone, where waves can be bigger but access for the public is more difficult - there is a small stand at this beach renting surf boards and giving classes to anyone in the mood to learn. 

this beach is commonly frequented by lots of surfers throughout the whole year, including at night, thanks to the artificial lights that were installed and that  light up the waves.
