at a glance
these orange bikes  are widely used by locals of all ages as well as visitors who would like to explore the city in a nature-friendly way - cyclists can rent a bike as many times as they wish, but they must return it every hour, and must wait 15 minutes before renting another one.

a monthly pass to use rio's orange bikes is  r$ 10, clearly the best option as a daily pass is r$ 5 - bike usage over 60 minutes has an extra fee of 5 r$ per hour.

bikes can be returned to any one of the 60-plus bike rio docks found scattered throughout the city - on this page it is possible to see detailed fares, operating hours, and instructions on how to create an account at bike rio.  arrow-back      arrow-forward
