Um Rio em 68 (A Rio in 68) is a book about the fiery year of 68 in Rio. 1968 was a year marked by the explosion of demonstrations against oppression and the consequent increase and hardening of repression. This book is written in first person, a collection of short testimonials and reviews from people who lived through the period. But what stands out are the photos, presenting images of protest and repression, which allow us to observe movement in the streets in the year of 68.

The photos are part of the collection of the Arquivo Geral da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro (General Archive of the City of Rio de Janeiro).
