from the peak of the hill, visitors can take in the views of botafogo, flamengo, and urca beaches, the sugar loaf mountain, and the christ statue on corcovado. 

during dusk and dawn the sun drenches the entire city in incredible shades of yellow, orange, and red - the favelas and many of the city's landmarks glow in this special light and yitzhak rabin park is one of the best places to witness the spectacular cityscape during sunrise and sunset.  

access to the park is via rua bartolomeu portela in botafogo -it stays open 24 hours, and there are some kiosks open until late in the evenings.
