located in a high-end neighborhood by the same name, itacoatiara beach has an elegant aura, it is always clean, and the purposively unpaved roads, rich of flowers and trees add a romantic and bucolic component to the experience. 

the  strong waves attracts surfers and body boarders, and often championships of these sports are held here. this beach can only be reached via rua matias sandri, a narrow road connecting it to more trafficked avenues.
