hikers and rock climbers would much enjoy the tiririca park as it is home to several panoramic trails and rock formations all granting spectacular views form their top, including  morro da penha (128m), morro do cordovil (202 m), morro do tucum (costão) (217 m), morro da serrinha (277 m), morro do catumbi (325 m), morro do telégrafo (357 m), alto mourão (369 m), and the tallest of all pedra do elefante (412 m).  

the clube dos aventureiros has an excellent website offering maps, information on local flora and  fauna, trails, and pictures for anyone interested in the serra da tiririca - they offer guided tours and organize sporting and eco trekking events.
