visitors and people who are not familiar with the trail could reach the beaches unaccompanied, however we highly recommend hiring a private guide for the hike.  while the trail is not extremely difficult, there are several points along the way where the trail splits into smaller trails not always leading to beach areas.        

further, a local guide would know what do and who to call in case of emergencies.  even a minor hiking accident as a sprained ankle would require  a boat rescue, and  a local guide could easily arrange that.
