there are no kiosks, bars, bathrooms, or lifeguards on duty - however, there are several shops and restaurants across the street from botafogo beach, including the botafogo praia shopping. this shopping mall has a variety of small restaurants facing directly the bay and offering spectacular views of the sugar loaf and the port.
