The graffiti project for the
GaleRio was piloted on the
Del Castilho station where a group, led by Mighuel Afa, created an
abstract, colorful piece, in pop art style.
The wall separating the stations of
Colégio and
Coelho Neto will
be graphitized by 70 artists, led by
Rafo Castro, Anarki,
Fael,
Bands, David, Baltar, Brutto and Denne.
A team led by Ahira OCrespo will graffiti the wall of the Army
Hospital with an impressive mural representing the Brazilian
nation.
In 2014 the open air exposition,
Street Art - Um Panorama Urbano,
or 'Street Art - An Urban Panorama', took place in the
Caixa
Cultural (Cultural Center) in the
centro district, bringing
together and showcasing creative and inspirational national and
international urban artworks.
