Every third Sunday of August, the community of the Paquetá Yacht Club celebrates the moonlight regatta (Patescaria), as well as the festivity of São Roque.  This event is the perfect opportunity to discover the beautiful paquetá - a uniquely charming district of rio de janeiro isolated on a small island with dirt roads, horses, and bicycles.

at the Patescaria enthusiasts of the ocean, sailors, cruisers and all the members of the yacht club take part in the yearly celebration.

dating back more than 30 years, The traditional regatta is organized by the Flotilha Guanabara and by the Marina da Glória, and requires all sailors to registered in advance via the club's website.
