annually Rio de Janeiro hosts Hip Hop Kemp - H2K - an international urban dance event taking place in april, may, or june.

The first installment of the event dates back to 2011, and is now one of the largest urban dance events in Latin America, bringing together national and international professionals, as well as amateurs. 

Rio H2K's mission is promoting a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship between the performers and their supporters, as well as democratizing access to urban arts forms.

The event is constituted of workshops, dance battles, shows and vibrant dance parties - each year, H2K showcases national and international talent in the main theatres of Rio.
