An exciting and patriotic day for all Brazilian people is their Independence Day - This date marks the end of the political and social process undergone by the colony of Brazil, between the years of 1815 and 1822 when, finally emancipated them from the Portuguese Kingdom, the brazilian empire was created by Dom Pedro de Alcântara de Bragança, Dom Pedro I do Brasil.

An opportunity to express the great love felt for the homeland, September 7th is the date to celebrate brazil's emancipation and to rejoice in the magnificence of the naval and aerial maneuvers that are prepared to exalt the occasion.

A mix of national anthems and symbols, marching bands, declamations and other celebrations, bring thousands of people together to witness the harmonious and splendid display of the Brazilian forces.     arrow-back      arrow-forward
