In previous editions, the organizers of the event partnered with O Centro de Movimento Deborah Colker to create regular hip-hop and Dancehall courses to be run throughout the year - Rio H2K is a unique platform for innovation, entertainment and learning in urban dance. 

santa teresa is now famous as the favorite neighborhood of many artists, musicians, and other bohemian types - every year, typically in july, many artists here open the doors to their studios and put their creations on display during the arte das portas abertas festival (art of the open doors festival). coming as an idea from the artists to make their work more easily reachable, the Arte de Portas Abertas, releases the privacy of dozens of workshops  simultaneously, allowing the neighborhood to access and interact with the spaces, normally reserved for the creation of the artwork.
