Hosted in the historic and charming town of paraty, the International Festival of Literature brings together some of the best-loved and critically acclaimed authors writing today, including in its first edition Julian Barnes, Don DeLillo and Hanif Kureishi.

Each year rio is home to an animation film festival called Anima Mundi, screening some of the most ground-breaking and engaging animated motion pictures from across the globe.

Recognized by the international academy of the OSCARs, it is the biggest animation event in Latin America, aiming to educate, entertain and create a platform for the newest and most original artists in the field.
