the event happens annually around the end of october or beginning of november in order to coincide with the city's anniversary. fenart celebrated its 40th incarnation in 2013 and had about 60 exhibitors displaying wood, leather, paper, iron, clay, glass and woven goods amongst other fares. also included are culinary treats such as arabic and morrocan caravan candies. musical and other attractions coincide with the fair, but do not have a fixed schedule allowing for a spontaneous and fun experience - the event is centered at pavilion juscelino kubitschek and entry is free of charge.
